She was then selected as the Party’s candidate on March 21 she was elected with 192 votes. De Piero issued a legal warning to the newspaper that she had been Underaged when they placed the pictures of her in their newspaper the photographs were returned to her with an apology.
In June 2011 there was a reshuffle, De Piero became shadow minister for crime prevention and in 2013 she was promoted to the Shadow Cabinet as shadow minister for women and Equalities. In 2012 Di Piero held a national tour called “Why do people hate me?” She used this method to know why voters were so disappointed with politicians.
At the 2015 general election her popularity increased and in SEP 2015 de was elected to the labor party conference arrangement and was elected with 109,888 votes. She later resigned from her shadow cabinet position on June 2016 among dozen of her colleagues. June 2017 general election De Piero got 441 votes.
She accepted a place in Corbyn’s shadow front bench team as Shadow Justice Minister in the following month. In march 27 2019 Piero voted for the Norway plus model and to custom Union with the EU. in July 2019 she announced that she would not stand in the next general election. She got a place in the parliament for Ashfield, Nottinghamshire on 12 December 2019.
